Why is my Apple ID disabled I’m not able to download apps

If your Apple ID is locked or disabled:

If you see a message that says 'Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes'

It could be due to a balance due, insufficient funds in the account, an overdue subscription payment, a change in billing information, a security issue as well, say you reported to your bank someone used your credit card to make purchases in iTunes/App Store or elsewhere, if you report it to Apple, most likely the account will be disabled until a trusted/safe payment method is on your account.


If account security is the reason, I’d change your Apple ID password, then contact Apple:
