Front camera turns purple suddenly on my 11 Pro

I was in the middle of a Facetime call and my 11 pro suddenly turns purple as shown in the screen cap. Talked to Apple support and tried all the software and system reset but none solves the problem. In the end they advised me to take it into a store for repair. This phone is not even 2 years old.
