To clarify, what happens when you try and enable Wi-Fi on your device? If the Wi-Fi switch completely greyed out or do you receive any kind of error message? To start, we suggest following the steps in the article below and see if you continue to notice the same behavior.
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network
We'll also want to be sure that your device does not have any software updates available. The resource below will help walk you through checking for updates and starting that process.
