Reviewing Past Text Conversations - Years Past

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way I can scroll back in a text conversation without just dragging down again and again and again to go to previous days?

I am trying to make something special for my wife and want to go back to our very first texts. I think we both saved everything in our texts to each other and so it goes back 9+ years. We text each other a lot so I could click and drag for hours and only be back 1-2 months.

Is there anyway I can see all the texts and data and pick where I want via dates? I would like to go back and pull up snapshots of our relationship over time, all the way back to our very first text - we have both had an iPhone the entire time and neither one of us deleted any of our text conversation.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you'd like to somehow go back to specific dates in your conversation with your wife in the Messages app.

Unfortunately, the Messages app doesn't allow you to print or scroll back in the conversation in an easy way. The method you're using is the only method you can use to go back in your conversation history.
