Is there a way to stream lossless songs while having the same song purchased on iTunes in my iPhone music library?
Every time I try to play Lossless songs from Apple Music, I can only listen to the lossless version if I don't have that specific song/album purchased on iTunes in my library.
If I try to play the lossless version of a song that I already bought, the first time I get a message saying "Playing Downloaded Version. This song was downloaded in Stereo High Quality and the downloaded version will always be played. To listen it in Dolby Atmos, remove the download and play the song again."
Since I have no interest in Dolby Atmos, I disabled it in Music settings while maintaining the Lossless Audio options set to High-Resolution Lossless. But the same problem persists.
The only way I can stream those songs in that quality, is to erase them from my library. But I don't want to do that because I like to play them in third party apps. And if I download the lossless version from the Music app, I can only play them there and if I have a Apple Music active subscription .
I don't want to necessarily download songs in lossless, it would be fine if I could only stream them while I have a active internet connection/Apple Music subscription.
Is there a way to stream lossless songs without having to erase the same versions from my library?
