On my iMac, my screen suddenly zoomed really large??? How do I get it to unzoom?

How do I get my iMac to unzoom? I was working on my iMac when suddenly the screen size zoomed really large. I'm not sure how it happened. Does anyone know, 1st what caused it and 2nd, how to shrink it back or unzoom??

Hold the Control key and scroll out.

If you want to disable the Display Zoom feature, go to Apple > System Preferences > Accessibility > Zoom and uncheck it.

it sounds to me that you may have have "discovered" smart zoom. if you tap twice lightly (NOT double click) on your magic mouse, the page can zoom in or out. you can check if it's active by going to AppleMenu>SystemPreferences>Mouse  under the "point & click" tab and see if smart zoom is selected. if it is, de-select it and the unexpected zooming will stop.
