Using the Audible app for audiobooks, the playback is stopping as soon as the screen auto locks. It starts up again as soon as I lift my phone. This started yesterday. I restarted my phone and that worked yesterday, but today it's doing it again and a restart didn't help. Any ideas other than keeping my phone permanently on? I've been using Audible for many years and this has never happened before. I am on iOS 14.6 iPhone SE 2020

From your post it appears you are having an issue with Audible pausing when the iPhone locks.
You may want to check the Audible app to see if there are any settings that can prevent that from happening.
Another thing to try would be to remove the app, restart the iPhone, and reinstall the app.
