My Apple Watch is stuck on the “aluminum case” screen I cannot open it to make sure WiFi is on I need help

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, your Apple Watch is currently stuck on the animation screen and won't let you unlock it. We'll do our best to assist with this.

If a case is stuck on the Apple Watch, you'd want to do your very best to remove the case, if possible. The case could be pressing on the buttons causing an issue with using it normally.

With that said, you could try to force a restart using section, 'Force restart your Apple Watch' here: How to restart your Apple Watch

If the issue persists after attempting to force a restart and you can't pair it with your iPhone, then we'd recommend to Contact Apple Support
