Has anyone figured out a fix for this? All iApps that came from Apple crash upon opening...
I tried rebooting in safe mode, repairing the disk, repairing the permissions.
To no avail.

"Purchased" or "delivered" a week ago doesn't mean your Mac is (only) "a week old."
It could have been made months ago, and would have been loaded with the OS and other software current at that time.

That did it. Thank you! I was under the impression that I was up to date.
If you are on Big Sur, make sure you have updated to the latest version, currently 11.4.

11.4 update worked. Almost fell into a wormhole of safe reboot blah blah. Just needed to update. Week old Macbook Air M1 arrived with 11.2
