so I have this iPhone 5 for years my brother created the account on it for me and I don't remember the password nor the email and neither does he. I factory reset and the activation lock showed up how do I bypass it?
See if you can recover the ID/password. Use every email address you can think of.

Request additional support for unlocking your device
Either take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store (if it has reopened). Call the store before going to make sure they can help.

well if only my brother switches emails every phone he gets and he uses android so you can imagine the number of phones and emails he has gone through so he can't even remember the email or its password far less the apple id password
