PS5 controller for Apple TV 4K with no haptic feedback.

Hi everyone,

I bought PS5 controller for Apple TV and it worked fine for the first day - with haptic feedback and everything.

Starting from the next day, haptic feedback was gone. Also, when I check the Bluetooth settings menu it shows PS4 controller's photo instead of PS5. Although the name of connection is still "dualsense"

I did reset the controller and TV, but still, no haptic feedback and ps4 photo in the settings.

Please, help me :)

We're glad you thought to ask Apple Support Communities about the issue you're having with connecting that controller with your Apple TV. You completed some great steps with restarting the controller and your Apple TV. The following guide has some helpful steps under "If your controller doesn't connect or work as expected" here: Pair a PlayStation controller to your Apple device

If the behavior continues, be sure the firmware is updated for the controller. You may need to reach out to PlayStation Support to learn how: PlayStation Support

Thanks for replying,

i did all the steps but still there is a problem.

I even returned the old controller and got the new one.

I think there is a problem with ios 14.6.

is it a common issue on apple tv?
