Use this Adapter: USB-C to USB Adapter - Apple

Another Adapter to Consider:

USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter - Apple. With this adapter, you will have USB port you need, but you will still have the thunderbolt 2 port for use, as it is built right into it, as a female port.
