Why WindowServer and Kernel task killing my Macbook Pro?

How to I stop this overpriced piece of metal called Macbook Pro using 30% CPU for WindowServer and 20% kernel_task after upgrading to BigSur?

My 2015 Macbook Pro with BigSur 11.4 (20F71) is hot, fan is working all the time. No malwares, nor apps are running, just by default using 30% CPU for WindowServer and 20% kernel_task.

When I don any work or even start Chrome, thigs get even worse.

Such a shame.

Hello an-dev,

We're glad you thought to ask Apple Support Communities about the issue you're having with those tasks using more CPU than expected. Let's help to narrow our focus by seeing if the same behavior happens in safe mode, and another user account. Here's more information about safe mode, and how to start there: How to use safe mode on your Mac

After testing in safe mode, restart your Mac to exit safe mode. After signing back in to your user account, use your Mac normally to see if the behavior continues. If so, create a new user account to see if it happens there: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac

Keep us posted on the results.

Take care.
