Go to Check Compatibility to see if your mac qualifies for the OS upgrade you want.
Then go to the Download OS section and click on the OS you want to install.
Before upgrading make a full back up of your Mac.
Check that third party apps you use have updates available for the new OS.

With the above information in-hand - follow this How to get old versions of macOS and verify what version this computer Qualifies to install. Make sure to use Only Safari to commence the download as Other may not work
Make a Time Machine Backup Before attempting. Notation - Mojave is the Last version to support 32 bit applications / extensions and Drivers. Catalina and Big Sur Only support 64 bit and there is not workaround.
Are there any AntiVirus, Disk Cleaner, Optimizers, Defrag, VPNs etc installed which should be removed as per Developers Instructions. They are useless, unneeded, cause havoc and interfere with the normal operation of the OS and may even Corrupt the OS requiring a Reinstallation.

However, i have tried your recommendation unfortunately it did not work. also, i tried to download the macOs Mojave 10.14.6 but it clearly written that this version of macOS 10.14.6 cannot be installed on this computer. Right now i don't know what else to do to enable me install microsoft office 365 for my school project. The reason i want to upgrade my macOS is to enable me install microsoft office 365 for my school activities.

As I said in my post to you the model and age of your mac will govern which OS.
So you should have checked what mac you had as described and then clicked on the
link provided and checked compatibility there you would have discovered that your
2011 mac cannot upgrade any further.
It is not that my method 'did not work' your mac does not meet the hardware requirements for upgrading further.
Had you written in your first post which mac you have and its year you have would have been told right away that
you cannot upgrade further.
If you ask questions hoping for advice then you should at least take the time to read the reply thoroughly
and any other articles you have been linked to.
If you need Office 365 for your school activities you are going to have to buy another suitable mac.
It will not affect your OS.
