Pages auto-quits

When I open Pages, it instantly shuts itself down and says it quit unexpectedly.

Some extra information:

• This happens to other Apple applications as well (like Numbers) so it's not Pages-specific
• I uninstalled and reinstalled already, didn't help
• I scanned for malware, nothing was found
• I rebooted my computer but the problem persists
• I am working on a recently purchased M1 Mac so the computer is not old

I need these applications for my job and I'm going crazy over here. I hope someone can help me out!
