My son just received an Apple Watch and is set up with a stand alone family account with no cell phone he keeps getting spam calls. How do I block this ?

How to block unknown callers on an Apple Watch I don’t see any way to block unknown callers on an Apple Watch with cellular for a Family Member (with an Apple Watch only - no iPhone). I got my daughter an Apple Watch with cellular. This is her only Apple device. I used the family setup option to configure her watch on my iPhone. I setup her Apple Watch on its own line (under my TMobile family plan). I don’t see any way to block unknown callers on her Apple Watch (and the family setup is not helpful here either). Am I missing anything? Didn’t Apple anticipate having people with only Apple Watch receiving spam calls? This feature is a must (for minors in a family setup).

If you enable Silence Unknown Calls on the iPhone then that also applies to the watch. The article below describes how to enable this feature:
