How do I sync my messages from my IPhone to my iPad?

First, make sure that the two devices are signed int the same Apple ID.


On the iPhone:

Go to Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding. Make sure the slider next to the name of your iPad is enabled (green).

Go to Settings > [yourAppleID] > iCloud. Make sure the slider next to "Messages" is enabled (green).


On the iPad:

Go to Settings > [yourAppleID] > iCloud. Make sure the slider next to "Messages" is enabled (green).
