I didn’t order anything and my account was charged $29 on 6/9/21. How do I find out what I’m being charged for?

I never ordered anything from Apple, however, my PayPal account was charged $29.00 on June 9, 2021. How do I find out what Apple is charging me for?

You can check what you were charged for by following these instructions.

If you do not recognize the purchase, I would recommend:

  • Change your Apple ID password. If you change it, whoever made the purchase will no longer be able to make purchases on your account until they figure out the new password.
  • Add 2-factor authentication if you haven't already. It adds an extra layer of security that makes it nearly impossible for someone else to log in to your account.
  • Change your PayPal password. It's also possible someone used your PayPal to order something for a different Apple account. If that's the case, you will not see the purchase listed in your Apple purchase history, only on PayPal.
  • On your Apple ID account management page, make sure you recognize all the devices listed. If you don't recognize a device, click on it and click "Remove from account". It could be someone else's computer who has access to your Apple ID.
  • Also consider changing your security questions if you have them for your Apple ID or PayPal. If someone knows the answer to these, they may be able to recover your password.
