Why is my text turning white on a white search bar in Facebook only on Ipad?

My search bar has returned to normal. I heard Facebook issued an update that solved the problem.

Did you get an answer yet? I have tried rebooting, re-installing etc. Nothing works. It doesn’t happen on my iPhone. This is crazy not to have a solution. Many people have been dealing with the issue for two weeks already. 😕

Mine does this too. Just started a week or so ago. I think it’s a FB issue with the iPad. Still searching on how to change it back to black.

Looks like the white text is only on the iPad app. If you don’t use the app. There is no white text. Only happens on my iPad though.

That seem to be the case with me as well. My iPhone with the app works fine, but not the iPad. If I don’t use the FB app, allies well. Strange

I was told by Apple to reach out to Facebook to see what’s going on white invisible text. Apple isn’t the problem it’s Facebook.

Update has fixed this. Yippee!

I’ve just uploaded an update and it’s still not fixed. Why oh why aren’t Apple doing something about this. There are so many complaints. I’ve stopped using FB on my iPad because it’s annoying me so much.

Oh, but it is a problem that is occurring on Apple products, and with apple product users, so by default, it should be a concern by Apple, to help those that support and use their products. Tim Cook I’ll bet could contact Mark Z, if he truly cares for his company’s customers. And trolling every chat, telling folks to contact Facebook, if lie me they started there. Since it’s not an issue with other brand pads, it must be a conflict with compatibility with Apple iPads. Loop a Apple user issue, thus should be a apple support, priority.
