Right now my OS still X El Capitan. It said "no update available, how do I solve this issue? If any had similar issue like this, please advise, because I want to download Zoom application and my OS are not update with the latest one.

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and depending on which MacBook Air model you have, click on High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina, or Big Sur. It needs to be at least a 2010 one to run a higher OS.
They're full-version upgrades and won't appear in the Updates list.
