homekit lamp on at sundown off at midnight?

I would like to use the Home app to turn a light on at sundown and off at midnight. The Home app seems to support fixed durations unlike the time between sundown and midnight which changes every day. Is what I'm trying to do possible with Home app automation?

You can do this with Wemo, Hue and other lights but I need it within the HomeKit automations. This shouldn't be too hard to add. Currently you have the ability to do this if you have say a motion sensor turning on a light and then you can have that light turn off after a set amount of time. But if my kids leave the room and don't turn off their lights I would like it to go off in an hour from when they first turned it on. Currently this is not possible. Since you already have it in the app using the "An Accessory is Controlled" automations it should be a breeze to add. Thanks! Eliot

HomeKit Can somebody please assist me with the steps on setting up Meross bulb timer instead of going through there App. My lights need to go on at sunset and off at sunrise. I’m aware that I need to create 2 automations for this. I can can set it to switch on at sunset but can’t switch it off at sunrise

How can I work around Home app's "Automations based on Time" max of 4 hour limit? I'm trying to use Apple's Home app to automate some lights turning on at around Sunset and then turn off 7 hours later. However Home's app Automate by Time strangely has a max of 4 hours limit. Is there a logical reason for this short limit and how can I work around it? Automating Christmas lights is just one of many things begging for this capability. Another related shortcoming is Automation based on time offers Sunset to turn on something but doesn't offer Dawn as a time to turn that item off.
