Soda Player constatly working in the background after uninstalling

Hi everyone!

I uninstalled Soda Player from my Mac few days ago. Then I found out that the program/file named "com.sodaplayer.sodaplayer-helper" has been constantly working in the background for many days by far (screen attached). I got a bit scared cause I have a bit of OCD regarding my privacy and spying apps. Obviously it drains the battery as well. I tried to Spotlight search it, but haven't received any results.

Can anyone tell what it is, what it does and how to get rid of it permanently?

I suggest you contact the developer of this app and ask if there is an official uninstaller. Apps that ignore Apple’s guidelines often wind up spraying small files all over the place. Dragging and dropping the app in the trash leaves all of these tidbits still in place.

In searching for articles about uninstalling Soda Player it appears both the Windows and Mac versions have dozens of files to be removed to completely uninstall the app. That’s a sure sign of a very poorly coded app.
