How do you work around PlayMemories Home not working in Big Sur for wireless photo downloads

I recently installed Big Sur on my MacBook Pro only to find out Sony PlayMemories app for downloading photos wirelessly is incompatible. What have others done to circumvent this problem? Any ideas?

Contact Sony for an update.

Downgrade your Mac to a system older than Catalina.
