Using iPad while charging the battery
Hey,
Is it okay to charge the iPad while I am using it? And also, is there any negative effect of the battery in the long term?

You are very welcome.
It is perfectly acceptable to use your iPad whilst charging. Doing so has no detrimental effect on longevity of your iPad.
iPad is commonly used in PoS (Point of Sale) and Kiosk Applications - often requiring the device to be connected to external power for extended periods. iPad will optimise is charging strategy as appropriate.
