macbook air battery

I have a macbook air 11 inch mid 2011, and need a new battery- is this something I can get done through Apple?

I realize it is on the "obsolete" list, but wasnt sure what that means.

If a battery is “obsolete,” that likely means the product was formally discontinued by Apple and is no longer available. Try looking at third party sites for spare batteries.
