How do I save edited movie
I have edited 2 projects, which are both now sitting in my timeline. How do I save them individually and also how can I save two or three sections of a split project individually?

You need to do an Edit/Select All, Edit/Copy, of all the media in the project and then Edit/Paste it into the timeline of a newly created project. In the new project, delete the portion that you do not want to share out, and then share out the remainder. Repeat the process for the other segment that you want to share out.
Another way is to duplicate your project by moving your cursor over the project’s icon or title in the project browser, and then clicking on the little circle with three dots in it to the right of the title. Then select Duplicate Project in the pop up menu that appears. In the duplicate project, proceed as above.

When you exit the project it will automatically save to the Projects browser as an editable project. You can also "save" it by clicking on the share button (the box with the upward pointing arrow in it at the top right of your screen) and then selecting File from the export options box that appears. Choose your desktop as the designation. Depending on your export settings it will save (export) as an Mp4 or .mov movie file. Your original editable project will remain intact and you can share as many times as you want. The shared out file will be a standalone movie that is not dependent on the original project or anything else. Therefore, it can be edited only to a limited extent because it is a finalized movie. If you are sure that you won't want to be editing the project any further, you can delete it and it will not affect the movie that you have shared out.

im still confused about something. If my edited project is in 2 sections (I split it), how do I send each section to my desktop as 2 separate files? I need to separate the two.
