Hey Jon,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue using the FileZilla app on your Mac. Did you install Rosetta first? If not, you may need to do that before trying to run FileZilla: If you need to install Rosetta on your Mac
We hope this helps.
Take care.
Jon,
That's really good to know. Is this the alert you're seeing: Open a Mac app from an unidentified developer
If not, or if those steps don't help, we recommend reaching out to the app developer to look into this more: FileZilla Support
Best regards.
Thanks Tammy
So I installed Rosetta 2 using Terminal. All good.
Then downloaded FileZilla - seems all good.
Then went to open the app, but I had a 'don't have permission' error message.
Have seen a script which I used without success as below:
Entered: % sudo chmod -R 755/Applications/FileZilla.app
Returned: usage: chmod [-fhv] [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-a | +a | =a [i][# [ n]]] mode|entry file ...
chmod [-fhv] [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-E | -C | -N | -i | -I] file ...
Help !! Thanks Best Jon
