My location is moving around

The same patterns to move my location is changed. 10-1 is a apartment. 10-1 is a apartment. But, their position also has on the road and next building. My location is moving around 4 points(probably more )on 10-1. I think 10-1 is set on wrong position at map, or someone change address information to use. If this is a software problem, please fix this problem. Findmy is always trying to look for my phone. This is not good things for my phone health.

Hi sayaka116,

We appreciate you reaching out through Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you're seeing that your iPhone location is off by a bit in the Find My app. Is this correct?

If so, we want to mention the your iPhone uses a combination of GPS signals, cellular tower triangulation, and local Wi-Fi networks to determine an estimate of its location. This means that the location of your device will be approximate, and may be affected by incorrect location information sent by local networks or cell towers.

Here's more information:

Find My is designed to update your iPhone location periodically and very efficiently. While it's possible to disable location services, this would prevent your device from being locatable in the Find My app. The following guide has detailed information:

To optimize your iPhone battery life, refer to the helpful tips in this guide:

We certainly appreciate your feedback about this, so we'd also like to share the following link you can use to submit your thoughts:
