Earpods with lightning connector support loseless feature or not?

Hi, I'm wondering whether earpods with lightning connector support loseless feature or not? If it does support the loseless feature I want to buy it.It cost more money to buy 3.5 mm earpods with the dongle since there is no headphone jack anymore.Thanks.

I only know what it says. I would think that earpods with a lightning connector already would have a DAC converter built into the earpods and therefor be capable of rendering a full quality digital signal.

Now whether or not the earpods themselves are capable of generating the sound quality is another matter. I invite you to do general web research about that since there is no statement from Apple about it. A lot of hype is being made of the lossless audio and frankly I doubt wheter most people could tell the difference or have equipment that can merit the quality difference.
