I’ve tried all the fixes and the fan on my MacBook Pro runs continuously after downloading the latest update in May of 2021. I need help!!!

How can I stop the fan from running continuously on my MacBook Pro? The computer is not even a bit warm. Yet, the fan runs nonstop. This began after the latest update in May 2021.

What are all the fixes you tried?

Tried this?

Reset SMC How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support (this one should do the trick)

Reset NVRAM Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

Restart holding Shift to enter Safe Mode. Once loaded, restart normally and check again.

Also restart holding D to enter Diagnostics Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support and run it to check if any thermal sensor has died.

For help with Diagnostics Apple Diagnostics reference codes - Apple Support

Do you use any controller app like Macs Fan Control? Are you using any antivirus or gadget app like Clean My Mac or any trash like this one? If you do, remove them, restart and check if anything changed.
