Using Music app and Library on multiple devices

I'm a professional DJ and producer and I've used iTunes for years to organize my music.

I got my iTunes folders and library on my Dropbox so it's always synced accross various devices i use.

Since iTunes changed to the 'Music' app it seems like the 'Library' files don't update when closing the app etc. I always have to export the library each time i wanna sync it to dropbox so i can use the same playlists etc. on the other macs I'm using...

is there an issue with the file-naming etc?
