Multiple music libraries

I am having problems with multiple libraries. See Screen shots attached

1 The set up for Apple Music subscription - set for lossless playback and download. Only select HLS tracks downloaded;

2 Two libraries on ext HD where all music has been downloaded as Match, Purchased or Uploaded. Sync library checked

3 Main library which contains all my music which is a mixture Lossless and AAC/MP3. Sync library unchecked.

My problem relates to switching between the different libraries. Most the time this works OK but occasionally despite having selected the correct library file using option key when launching the following occurs:

1. The previous library is s incorrectly displayed. Instead of seeing Downloaded music library, I see the last library. Only way to correct is use a time machine backup.
2. Sometimes the correct library is shown but Music Media folder location has been changed to that of the previous library opened. Usually resetting location is sufficient with no need to run consolidation.

I have got keep media folder organised checked.

The big question is What am I doing wrong? Never had this problem with iTunes - you could give in general preferences a different name to the library.
