Fake email ?



Any body received anything similar. Anyone know if it’s another fake?

Ipad automatically put it in suspected junk folder

Apple will never email you about this sort of thing. If they do have to lock your account for security reasons, they won't tell you: they will wait for hyou to find out and contact them. That way you know who you're talking to. The link in that message has the text of the Apple Support address but the actual link it likely to somewhere else, it's easily enough done as you can see from this harmless demonstration:


https://support.apple.com


On a Mac you can hover the cursor over the link to show the actual address, but I don't know if you can do that on an iOS device.


Also as you point out the grammar is poor: and it's addressed to 'Dear Customers' which is a dead giveaway: on the rare occasions Apple emails you they would address you by name.
