Passcode Reset

I was prompted this morning to reset my passcode. I did not initiate this request. Did something change that would have prompted this?

Tried changing passcode couple of time and for some reason it keeps asking again for the old passcode ! Looks like I am in a loop of changing passcode , entering Apple ID , ending with again asking for old passcode.

If you have a corporate email account on your phone, the administrators can enforce policies, including passcode changes.
