Pages and Numbers Apps

My pages and numbers apps are no longer working. A popup says that this report is being sent to Apple automatically but nothing has changed. This is a brand new Mac, less than 6 months old and already having issues. Extremely unsatisfied with what is going on since the Pages and Numbers apps are what i use for work 90% of the time. What needs to be done to fix this problem?

Just update your macOS to the latest version, currently Big Sur 11.4.


To do that go to System Preferences > Software Update.


Also make sure you are running the latest version of the apps, currently 11.1. You can update those if necessary via the Mac App Store.
