Delay in shipping

I placed an order for iPad 8th gen with engraving on 2nd June 2021. Apple has given me an expected delivery time between 23rd-29th June 2021. As the expected time is still so long, can I really expect my order to be delivered to me within the given expected time? What is the probability that real delivery time may get an increase? Does anyone of you have that kind of experience?

Delivery times I ordered a new I pad from the Apple store on July 3rd 2022. It is now 3 months later and I have not received it yet. The order stays in processing and every two days I get a message to tell me that it is delayed for another 2 days. Of course, when that day comes I get a new message. I have called Apple 2 x but their operators can see only what I can see and they guarantee that it will be delivered 2 days later. NOT!!!!! Are these waiting times normal and when can I expect my new I pad???

While your mileage my vary, the general consensus id that Apple does a pretty good job of hitting their projected delivery dates.
