Keyboard forgot learned words

For the last year and a half (since I've had my new iPhone) I've been using the Spanish keyboard to type both in Spanish and English (which I do on a daily basis). There was never a need to switch between keyboards for it to recognize the words I wanted to type and I had auto-correct on.

Suddenly, about a week ago, my keyboard "forgot" this and now I have to switch between languages or "teach" the Spanish keyboard all of the English words again (because of auto-correct, so if I type something like "joking" it auto-corrects it to "bolinga").

I tried chatting with Apple Support and they suggested resetting my keyboard settings, but I don't want to lose my text replacements or lose any of the words my Spanish keyboard had already learned, since I believe they have to be in the system somewhere.

What can I do to fix this? It all happened so suddenly and am not sure why.
