Yes…
Start by selecting a filtered view in the Mail App sidebar - to list only Unread Mail:

Next, tap the Edit button at top-right of the Mail sidebar; simply swipe your finger down (or up) the left-side of the message list to bulk select Mail Messages.
To delete the selected messages, tap the Bin (or Delete/Trash - this being dependent upon your region settings) button at bottom-right of the sidebar.
