Big Sur -- Where is the flag in Mail?
I see the flag in the message bar but when i click it it does not put a flag next to the mail I want flagged??

Suggestion - Click and choose the specific Email you what Flagged, Then in the Message Bar, as you call it - choose the Colour of Flag desired. The Flag should appear to the Right side of the chosen E-mail.

I right clicked on the title section above the email titles, and below 'Inbox' and checked 'Flags', and it seemed to work for me
I understand what you mean and see that the actual email has a flag on the top right. I'm talking about the flag that normally appears in the column list, It used to be there in Catalina and before but not in Big Sur.
I'm on a Mac Pro DESKTOP
I am feeling really stupid today, because I don't understand this reply. The screenshot below shows the top bar of my messages screen. What do you mean by titles? Am I missing a toolbar?
