Personal Hotspot

Hello. I have been trying to enable personal hotspot on my iPhone but the setting isn’t there anymore under “Mobile Data” and when i try to enable it that message pops up. I have used personal hotspot many times before but I haven’t used it in a few months and now that I need it, is not there. I have tried contacting my operator and they said that I need to contact Apple because they cannot do anything. If anyone knows what to do please let me know it would be very helpful!

The screenshot you provided is clear enough. Your cellular carrier account is not properly set up to allow Hotspot. Sometimes that costs extra.

Yes, I see you’ve used Hotspot previously. Perhaps your carrier changed their plan structure.

The message could not be more clear. Personal Hotspot is service controlled by the carrier settings and requires that your carrier enables it on your account to use it.

Contact back your carrier support and ask to speak to someone who can confirm to you they do support Personal Hotspot service on an iPhone and that the service is enabled for you on your account.
