Phone not charging and screen broken
Hi my sons iPhone 11 as a smashed screen and will not charge how can i save his contacts and photos if i need a new phone or can this be fixed

For the not charging issue, check the charging port for lint or other debris and see this:

If you can't get the phone to start up, it's too late to backup. However, there might be an iCloud backup available:
