why cant i see itunes on my new macbook pro?

In Catalina and Big Sur, iTunes has been replaced by individual apps to cover what were the different parts of iTunes. Each one works on the whole much the same as previously, just as a separate app (Podcasts is more different).


The separate apps are Music, Podcasts. and TV (which alsao includes Movies). Apps are now in a separate App Store on iPhones. Syncing and backup functions are now handled in the Finder.
