Unable to update apps

Good morning. In the last week or so I am unable to update apps or purchase/download apps from the App Store. Itunes is working perfectly. I have tried restarting my phone, logging out of the App Store, resetting network settings and checking day/time settings and nothing is working. I can see the available updates on my account but when I press update, it just spins constantly. The same when I try to buy an app. Any ideas? It is an iPhone X and the software is uptodate

iPhone X, iOS 14
