Mac on a Windows Domain

We have a few graphic designer using Macs in a Windows Domain. Every time a Mac user access a .PDF on the file server and quits Adobe, our Windows users can not access the .PDF.

Our admin can see the file is still open by the Mac user.

Short of having the Mac user reboot every time they work on a .PDF, what else can be holding on to the file?

We are running Windows Server 2019

File "Can't be Found" prompts after Ventura 13.1 Since updating to Ventura 13.1, at random times, when I double-click on a file to open it, I get a prompt that the file can't be found. If I click OK then double-click the file again, it opens as it should. It happens randomly to files of all types. I have never created aliases to any of these files and they are stored locally on a desktop folder. This has never happened before 13.1. Quick Actions not functioning. I have a new MacBook Pro (coming from Windows) and am running MacOS Ventura 13.1. When right clicking on a PAGES or a DOCX > Quick Actions... Customize comes up instead of showing CreatePDF or some of the other functions commonly available. When I Customize, and select DONE, nothing changes. I have contacted AppleChat and Telephone support without getting the results expected. This seems like the intended feature for the Quick Actions (Context menu in Windows). Looking for any advanced users to help get this to work? For those capable of solving this first issue, the second one is: How do I then combine multiple DOCX files into one .PDF using something similar. These tasks are all too easy in Windows. Thanks!

Change icon of Documents folder in macOS Monterey I use to personalize the appearance of my Mac by changing icons of folders - this works fine in Monterey, too, with the exception of the Documents folder. I just cannot change that folder icon by pasting it in cmd-I, like for all other folders. Most probably, this is a permissions issue, but I cannot find information about this. Can anyone please point me to a solution? I have seen that someone else had asked the same question for Big Sur, but never received an answer, unfortunately.
