ipad boot loop

Hi, my ipad is stuck in a boot loop and won't charge. I have tried itunes recovery and other things but to no avail. If stevejobsfan0123 reads this could he suggest anything? Does anyone know how to find his web page please?

Thank you!

2. After a few seconds the apple logo appears then after ten seconds turns off
3. then it just repeats this cycle. No home screen ever but sometimes a quick flash of red before going black.

Be aware that a 1A Power Adapter can only supply 5W of power - which for most models of iPad is inadequate.

If the iPad battery is fully depleted, as described, connecting the 5W adapter will cause the iPad to attempt to power-up. As the iPad battery is depleted - and the Power Adapter cannot provide sufficient power - the iPad will immediately shut down. This cycle will repeat.

Your USB Power Adapter must be rated at least 2.0-2.4A @5V (i.e., 10-12W) to reliably charge the iPad - and should be adequate to allow the iPad to successfully charge during the automatic boot process.

Try things in these links:

If they do not work then follow the advice at the end of the documents about contacting Apple.

Your iPadOS is up to date?

Did you try contacting Apple the way the articles suggest if the solutions do not work? This forum is not official Apple Support, just users like you helping other users.

Thanks for the reply but none of these help. I will be explicit about what happens.

  1. I plug the iPad into a wall charger, apple 1A plus.
  2. After a few seconds the apple logo appears then after ten seconds turns off
  3. then it just repeats this cycle. No home screen ever but sometimes a quick flash of red before going black.

I have read that there is a way to force the device to recharge instead of attempting to boot endlessly.

Thanks
