alarm doesn't go off

Hi,

I have set my alarm to go off at 8:30 and turned the snooze mode on. However, when I woke up it was already 9:40 and my alarm was turned off. I have no memories that I have pressed the cancel button or at least the side button to snooze it (and it should be ringing every after 9 mins to wake me up until I have press the cancel button). I have experienced this problem a few times since a year before, and I had never experienced similar problem before this. I have been using the iPhone alarm for many years and I never missed an alarm before. I am quite sure that I am not the type of person who will miss the alarm or back to sleep after the alarm went off. Has anyone experienced the same problem with me or is it just my iPhone?

Greetings Ayame_1116,

Based on your post, it sounds like you have an alarm that didn’t sound at the appropriate time.

If this is a reoccurring alarm, could you please set up a new one for around five minutes from now and see if the alarm goes off? Do you have the alarm that was due at 8:30 set with a default tone from your iPhone or is it set with a custom tone? If a custom tone, like a purchased tone or song, is that tone/song downloaded to your iPhone?

We’re eager to hear more on what the results of these steps are.
