MacOS Big Sur 11.3 seems does not prfioritize network interface properly - does not respect the set Service Order

Hi all,

Before, I would order the services in the network tab where my wired network would be first, and MacOS would always made it top priority whenever it was connected. Now, with 11.3 (and maybe even earlier it started) I am noticing MacOS prioritize the network that was firstly connected/established, regardless of the priority of the services in the network tab.

For example:

If I first connect wifi network, and then wired, wi-fi will be prioritized.

If I first connect wired network, and then wi-fi, wired will be prioritized.

If I have both connected and if I disconnect the wired and then connect again, wi-fi will stay as a prioritized network.

How to force MacOS to use the service priority when more than one network with same gateway is connected?

When I do networksetup -listnetworkserviceorder, I am getting:

(1) Gigabit Ethernet

(Device: en8)

(6) Wi-Fi

(Hardware Port: Wi-Fi, Device: en0)

However, netstat -nr, shows this:

default                  UGScg          en0

default                  UGScIg         en8

Any help is very appreciated and welcome.
