It sounds like you need help with messenger and syncing messages. We can look into this with you.


Are you using the Messages app on your device? If so, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud. Is Messages on there?


Do you see your messages on any other Apple device you have?


If you're experiencing an issue with a third-party app, please follow the steps here to help fix this: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

Thanks for the additional information.


Messages in iCloud are updated automatically and you'll need to have your iPhone connected to Wi-Fi and an Apple brand charging cable and power adapter to complete the syncing process.


Depending on how many messages need to sync and the size, it could take several days to completely update.
