Student discount
I have purchased the new iMac ( i have not received it yet)
I just enrolled in Visual Design University
Could I get a student discount and have credit for future purchases?

Not after you already bought it you cannot unless you got it with the past 14 days and bought it directly from Apple If you did, then return it and get a full credit and then use https://www.apple.com/us-hed/shop/back-to-school to sign up for the Student Program.
You can call the online store to or AppleCare to get going. In short, this is something you should have thought about before buying you Mac.
