ipad backup

My iPad has started to show signs of not doing well. Face ID no longer works and I cannot update to the latest software version. It gets stuck on update requested.

It is backed up both to iTunes and to iCloud. If I reset the ipad, will my home screen be backed up. I have many, many folders with websites. For example, a folder called restaurants with numerous restaurant websites.

Is all of this backed up so that it will be restored without a problem?

Your bookmarks (restaurant websites) are not part of an iCloud backup per se but they are saved if you synch them. This means that they will be restored on your device as soon as your device synchs to iCloud.

In order to make sure they are synched, open Settings, tap your name, tap iCloud and make sure that Safari is enabled.

Yes, it is the way it is. You won't see your bookmarks on iCloud.com, yet they are saved. You could see them on your other iCloud-connected devices, if you have any.

Your bookmarks are saved if you synch Safari in iCloud. You can proceed without any hesitation with restoring your iPad.
